I hope we get home soon.

The home that I will have is a place of mystery and gratitude, of prayer and play. It has a thick wooden table, with mismatched seats enough for everyone. It has people I love nearby and birds in the trees. It is large enough to absorb joy and tragedy. This home is comforting and unexpected. You can touch it and it is full of many textures. There is music in its workings. Quilts are on the beds. This is how it will be. Somewhere around will be a body of water.
